Sheren Tang Shui Mun is a Hong Kong famous TVB actress and freelance artiste. She is most famous for her roles in the mega hit drama series War and Beauty, La Femme Desperado, The Family Link, and Rosy Business. Sheren Tang first well known drama was New Heaven Sword & Dragon Sabre (TVB, 1986), although she played as a supporting role. Sheren casted as Zhou Zhiruo (the main actress was Kitty Lai who roled as Zhao Min) After the death of Barbara Yung Mei Ling in 1985, TVB he found a successor in the person of Sheren Tang. This proved very talented actress, and has quickly leave the shadow of the defunct Yung. Not like another successfull TVB Actress who got a fame before by a beauty contest, Sheren Tang had enrolled in drama school chain, sure of his artistic talents. After more than 10 years of loyal service, she felt the need to look elsewhere. It then sets turn to Taiwan, China, or the rival TVB: ATV. Sheren was cast in her first role in The Legend of the General Who Never Was 1985 with Alex Man as his leading lady.She moved over to rival station ATV in 1996 and returned to TVB in 2000. She won the prestigious Best Actress award in the 2009 TVB Anniversary Awards for her role in Rosy Business.

Sandy Lam, also known as Lam Yik Lin is a Cantopop singer who sings in Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and Japanese. Sandy Lam whose ancestral hometown is Ningbo, was born in Hong Kong and began her career at the age of sixteen, getting a job as a D.J. for Commercial Radio Hong Kong. She began her singing career in 1984 when she was signed to CBS Sony. Her first single was “I Don’t Know What the Love Is”. Sandy Lam has had a varied career, recording not only with CBS Sony in the 1980s, but also with Warner Music, Rock Records (Taiwan’s largest independent label), Virgin Records, and now Capitol Music. Sandy Lam rose to fame in Hong Kong in the mid 80s with a string of up-tempo Japanese style songs. She then transformed herself into a serious, progressive artist with the cosmopolitan “City-Rhythm” R&B album series. In 1991 she released the ground breaking coming-of-age “Wildflower” album to rave reviews, and triggered an “unplugged” craze in the Cantopop scene. “Wildflower” is considered one of the foremost Cantopop classics. Lam gained instant popularity in Taiwan with her debut Mandarin release “愛上一個不回家的人” (Home Again Without You) in 1991. In 1995, she teamed up with Jonathan Lee, known as Taiwan’s music godfather, and released her 4th Mandarin album Love, Sandy featuring a hit single “傷痕” (Scars), which became one of the all time best selling Chinese language albums. Since then Sandy has gradually moved beyond the Hong Kong music scene and spent most of her time in Taiwan, China, and Japan exploring new opportunities. Her 2006 Mandarin language album “Breathe Me” was recorded in Korea, Taiwan, mainland China and Hong Kong. Lam returned to the music scene with a hit single “至少還有你” (At Least I’ve Got You) from her first album with Virgin in 2000. It was on the KTV Music Chart for 8 months. In December 2001 she released a Mandarin-language album entitled “Truly Sandy”, on which she co-wrote four songs. In the same year, Lam appeared as cast member of an Andrew Lloyd Webber concert Masterpiece, which also featured West End and Broadway star Elaine Paige and China’s all-time best-selling recording artist, American-Chinese Kris Phillips. This concert was sold out with an audience of over 17,700 people. Lam has won many awards in the course of her career, including Best Regional Performing Female Artist, Best Album, Best Female Vocalist, the Asia Pacific Most Outstanding Female Artist, and an honorary Music Award for her contributions to the music industry. Her 14th Cantonese album was released in 2008.

Karena Lam is a Hong Kong based award-winning actress and singer. Karena was working at her Vancouver family restaurant when she was discovered by a talent scout from Taiwan in 1993, at age fifteen. The scout persuaded her to fly to Taiwan that Christmas, alone, for a singing audition in the hope of securing a professional contract. The audition was a success and she released two albums, her debut album in 1995 and her second album later in 1999. However both were met with modest success. Her film debut in 2002 changed all this and propelled her to real stardom. Karena starred in three successful Hong Kong films in the same year, winning the awards of Best Supporting Actress and Best New Performer for her role in July Rhapsody directed by Ann Hui (at the 2002 Hong Kong Film Awards) and for Inner Senses by Lo Chi Leung (at the Taiwan Golden Horse Awards), gaining her recognition as a talented young actress and marking the start of her film career. In recent months she has been taking on much more challenging roles, as witnessed in the 2005 horror film Home Sweet Home, where she plays an insane and horribly deformed “phantom” monster who kidnaps a boy from his genetic mother to claim as its own, and was nominated for major awards again.
