Ariel Lin, or Lin I-chen is a Taiwanese actress and singer. Lin was first discovered in the Taiwanese variety show Guess and was the champion of the pretty subway girl contest in the show. She was immediately paired with Mike He, also a rising star, in a drama series “Love Contract.” After appearing in several television roles in Taiwanese dramas and three movies during the early 2000s, she rose to fame in 2005 for playing the role of Yuan Xiang Qin in the hit drama series It Started With a Kiss opposite Joe Cheng. She attended Taiwan’s National Chengchi University, majoring in Korean, throughout much of her early career in the entertainment business. Lin has also been highly praised for her work in Tokyo Juliet (2004) as Lin Lai Sui with Wu Chun and Simon Yam. Her work on The Legend of the Condor Heroes (2008) (playing Huang Rong opposite of Hu Ge) brought her increased popularity in mainland China. In October 2008 she won the Golden Bell Award for Best Actress for her performance in the series They Kiss Again. Most recently she has starred with Joe Cheng in the series Love or Bread. As a singer, Lin has recorded a number of songs since the mid-2000s, many of which are featured in her TV series. In May 2009, Lin signed a three-year, three-album contract with Avex Taiwan. Her first album, titled 幸福遇見, ‘Blissful Encounter’, was released on July 10, 2009.

Marian Rivera is a Filipina actress. Her first TV role came in 2005 via TAPE Inc.’s afternoon drama, Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako in the lead that was aired in GMA Network. Eindra Kyaw Zin is a Myanmar Academy Award winning film actress and TV commercial model. Kyaw Zin, an amateur painter, is one of the most successful and recognized stars of the Burmese entertainment industry. In an interview with The Myanmar Times, Kyaw Zin admitted that film was not her initial choice of a career. Rather she envisioned herself as an independent artist or a doctor but had to reevaluate her options after getting sub-par grades in school. Her first foray into the entertainment industry came by way of a local beauty contest. She won the Miss Kokkine contest in 1998, and then went on to win Miss Christmas that same year. For the next two years she appeared in magazines and modeling shows. In 2000, she scored her big break as an actress in the film Pyaw Lai Kya Ya Aung (Let’s Have Great Fun) as the lead actress. Ironically, her film career in the early 2000s was handicapped by the top leading man of that day, Yaza Ne Win, her first cousin. In 2003, she spoke to Chiangmai-based Irrawaddy Magazine that “I have limited opportunities to act in current popular movies.
